Is anyone else free on Memorial Day??

I probably have more Bollywood movies than any of you - My collection numbers in the hundreds, and covers four decades so if you are up to spending Memorial Day watching Bollywood movies with great company and great food ( for those of you who do not know, I am a chef!), please come by.

There will be three shifts, although you are welcome to spend the whole day. You must arrive 1/2 hour before showtime to participate in movie selection.
Showtimes will be 12:30pm, 4pm and 7:30pm
When you RSVP, please let me know which time you will be attending.

I only ask that you contribute $10 towards the cost of the food (there will be vegetarian food) and bring a bottle of whatever you like (soda, juice, wine, water). Selection of beverages will depend on you. Please pay in advance via paypal.

    Mireille is great as usual. The food was different but delightful to my palate. First time with bollywood movies and will continue with dedication to learning about other cultures.

    Mireille is a great host, and I am glad that my first event was such a nice one. I saw films that I'd never seen before, was able to have some very interesting conversations, and met the world's #1 Big B fan :) Looking forward to the next event...

    I was out of the coutnry for a month and then I had to do my essays for my grad classes, now i am going to be free :)

Who attended?

    • “ It was a great afternoon. Since it was in a house, we were able to talk freely throughout the movie and pause as needed. A great day full of good conversation, food and films. ”
    • “ I can't say "at this meeting" but my experience surrounding this meeting was bad. I didn't go, because the organizer did not answer phone calls or e-mails. I had gotten one brief response re. the question of whether I had to pay in advance, then got a conflicting group e-mail urging everyone to pay in advance. My followup query in e-mail was ignored. I queried twice about whether I should bring something but got no reply. I queried about the possible movies being shown but got no reply. I also sent a comment/query about another event and got no response. ”
